Grab a towel or lounge chair and hit the Asbury Park beach. The Fifth Avenue Beach is the most popular spot to enjoy the sun, sand and surf. Cocktails and food are available in the Beach Bar of the Convention Center and there are plenty of other options along the boardwalk, too.
Beach badges for entry onto the beach are $5 and available at any of the kiosks on the boardwalk.

Ironball Games & Events brings classic dodgeball to the sand at Asbury Park's Fourth Avenue Beach with the second annual Gay Beach Dodgeball Tournament to Unite and Benefit the LGBT Community. You’ll want to pop your umbrella on Asbury Park’s Fourth Avenue Beach early for this "can't miss" event.
Ironball Games & Events will donate money to the winning team's charity. In 2009, Ironball Games & Events donated $800 to the winning team Madison Marquette and their charity, The Shana Foundation for Bacterial Menengitis http://www.theshanafoundation.org/. The winning team will also win tickets to the Sand Blast Dance on the Beach (a $60/ticket value)!

For a bit of eye-candy and some good clean fun there will be a pool scrimmage mid-party by the gay water polo team from New York City.
Team New York Aquatics was founded in 1990 and now has over 175 swimmers and water polo players. They welcome members of every ability, sexual orientation, race, creed, status, and age. They participate in the Gay Games as well as the IGLA (International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics) meets along with a host of other local competitions. So far in 2010, the TNYA water polo team has competed in four tournaments including being the champions of the Big Apple Holedrive which was hosted by TNYA at Columbia University in May
